Virohan, an edtech company in healthcare, providing education for Allied Healthcare Practitioners has recently partnered with International Institute of Import and Export Management (IIIEM) to launch its first 3 new centres in Gujarat, in Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara.

Founded in 2008, International Institute of Import and Export Management is recognized across the globe as a leading Export Import Training Centre. The institute provides various programmes related Import, export and logistics, and with this collaboration, Virohan aims to launch these centres to aggregate the Allied healthcare workforce in Gujrat and strengthen the regional health care workforce by providing aspiring AHPs with Industry relevant education and preparing them for the unprecedented challenges.

Virohan at all its centres is providing courses for students to become Medical Lab Technicians and OT Technicians. The training is provided at Virohan through videos, gamification and real time tests, leading to increased student engagement & retention. Virohan’s pass percentage is currently over 90% and drop out rates are around 6% vis a vis an industry average of 35%-40%.

Commenting on the launch Kunaal Dudeja, CEO & Co-Founder says, “Our main aim is to uplift the healthcare workforce in India, with our centre launched in Gujarat in Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara, we are actively providing internships and placements opportunities to all our students with an all time high of 91%. Our objective is to prepare the country to be ready to fight a pandemic in future without facing a shortage of healthcare workforce”.

With the launch of its first centres in Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara, Virohan plans to expand its footprint in Gujrat and aims to train over 500 students by the end of august 2022.Virohan envisions to provide better skilled workforce to several states across India and to train over 3,000 students in Gujarat by 2025.
