As part of the 75 crore Surya Namaskar celebrating the Azadika Amrut Mahot savam and Republic Day, the Telangana Yogasana Sports Association under the auspices of the President of the Medak District Yogasana Sports Association, Karanam Ganesh, performed the Vyasasana under the auspices of the District President, Sri Shubhamasthu Function Hall in Chegunta.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganesh Ravikumar said that doing yoga and sun salutations during the corona catastrophe gives extra energy and that everyone should do yoga, sun salutations and pranayama properly to stay fit. He said that in 197 countries of the world, yoga, sun salutations and pranayama are practised regularly irrespective of caste and religion. This honour belongs to India alone, he said.
As per the call of the Prime Minister, 75 crore sun salutations will be held regularly from January 1 to February 20 as part of the Azadi Amrit Mahotsav. He said that sun salutations, yoga and pranayama are very helpful in the treatment of every ailment these days (for example, BP, diabetes, heart attack, headache, aches and pains, including corona).
