Berasia police have arrested four armed miscreants who assaulted and robbed four persons late in the night on November 13 at Sohaya Jod and recovered two robbed gold chains and Rs 6000 cash; victims I were on their way to Bina when they were robbed.

The arrested accused were identified as Govind Bijori,Dharmendra Bijori, Bhagwan Bijori and Jainu Bijori and recovered valuables worth Rs 1.86 lakh from their possession.

Accused were nabbed after receiving a tip off regarding the accused at Dhekpur Bijori (Kanjar) village.

Notably, four persons including a woman were attacked at Sohaya Jod while they were repairing deflated tyres and were hit by wooden stick and iron rods. The four sustained severe injuries. in the attack.

Accused before leaving the stop threatened victims of life and escaped in the near farms which raises suspicion that accused were locals or were helped by locals.

It was found accused laid trap for victims and robbed them of Rs 15000 cash and a gold chain which the lone woman among the passengers was wearing.

The victims Sandeep, his wife, Varun and Ankit were on their way to Bina in car when they were robbed late in the night on Sunday at Sohaya Jod by the miscreants.
