The man who had allegedly rammed his car into the wall of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM A) during the wee hours has been booked by the N-traffic police station for rash driving and for causing damage to public property.

The youth has been booked based on a FIR filed by a security personnel of the B-School.

As per the complaint filed by Pramod Keshkar, 46, who works as a security guard at the IIMA on night duty, he saw a black car with damaged front portion parked on the road while a 20-feet portion of the institute’s brick wall was damaged.


The driver has been identified as Bihan Kalariya, a resident of Naranpura. He was also present at the spot with his father and is said to have received mi nor injuries in the leg and other parts of the body.

Later, the cops were informed and an FIR was filed at the N-traffic police station against Kalariya for alleged rash and dangerous driving, under the IPC, MV Act and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.
