Ad major Brightcom Group on Wednesday reported a nearly two-fold jump in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 at Rs 371.44 crore on the back of higher revenues. The company had reported a PAT of Rs 138.60 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Its revenues for the October-December quarter increased to Rs 2,021.33 crore from Rs 878.54 crore in Q3 FY21, registering a growth of nearly 130 percent.

 “The overall performance was impressive owing to increased consumer usage of digital media and digital channels to conduct commerce across the world, post the pandemic, Filtering technologies across the industry have reached a steady-state, cutting down the spurious traffic, thereby contributing to higher eCPMs (effective cost per impression).” the company said in a statement issued here.

The company further said the outlook for the sector remains extremely robust, with a massive shift from traditional to digital advertising. aided by the pandemic. “Newer phenomena like Metaverse and augmented reality are acting as force multipliers to an already snowballing trend in favour of ad-tech,” it said.
