The unseasonal rains for the last two days have damaged the crops of the farmers. Due to this rain, farmers of both Faridabad and Palwal districts have suffered a lot. Regarding this, Haryana Warehousing Corporation Chairman and MLA Nayanpal Rawat visited many villages of Prithla area on Monday.
The MLA took stock of the crops damaged by the rains. During this, he also interacted with the farmers and assured them that in this time of calamity, the Manohar government is completely standing with them. He said that about 80 percent of the paddy crop is still standing in the fields, while only 20 percent of the crop has been cut and has been spoiled by this rain, so to compensate for the loss of the crops, girdawari of the fields will be done and the officials will also be consulted about this. They have been discussed. He said that he has also spoken to Chief Minister Manohar Lal over phone and has also spoken to the DCs of both Palwal and Faridabad districts, orders have been given to the DRO, he will compensate the farmers after doing Girdawari. He said that although the details of farmers are recorded on the portal, yet it happens many times, the affected farmers do not get compensation, for this the officers will work at the ground level and prepare a report after meeting the farmers.
